Dr. Lynn J. Calcote

Double Board-Certified Colorectal Surgeon

Dr. Lynn J. Calcote is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He treats the whole spectrum of anorectal diseases, with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery using laparoscopic technology. 

Dr. Calcote graduated with high honors from South Dakota State University and obtained his M.D. at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency program. He later pursued subspecialty training, gaining acceptance into a competitive fellowship position at the University of Southern California’s colorectal surgery training program.

Along with employing his medical expertise to serve patients, Dr. Calcote emphasizes educating patients on measures they can take to improve their health long-term, such as dietary modification and proper stooling techniques. He prioritizes patient safety and disease eradication, privileging non-surgical techniques but ultimately pursuing what will effectuate the best results.
